Special Hobby SH72533 1/72 Douglas A-20G Havoc 'Over Europe and Pacific
The American A-20 Havoc twin-engine bomber was a workhorse of World War II, seeing extensive action across Europe and the Pacific. The A-20G variant featured formidable nose-mounted machine guns and a turret-equipped rear fuselage, making it devastating in ground-attack and low-altitude bombing runs. RAAF Bostons became legendary in the Pacific, while European operations saw them operating from bases in Italy, Britain, and post-invasion France as tactical bombers in coordinated formations.
This Special Hobby 1/72 scale kit captures the A-20G in exceptional detail across five grey plastic sprues and clear parts. Build one of four historically accurate schemes, including a French-based invasion-striped aircraft adorned with Vargas-inspired nose art, fierce Pacific warriors with dramatic nose paintings, and a No.22 Squadron RAAF machine. The kit's comprehensive parts breakdown ensures authentic representation, while optional accessories including masks, resin detail sets, and figure sets allow for customization and enhanced realism. Perfect for modellers seeking a versatile and historically significant WWII aircraft with excellent variety in livery options.
